Welcome to Serene Solutions Counseling & Consulting Services (“Serene Solutions,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By engaging in any of our services—including individual therapy, Empowered Motherhood Intensives, and perinatal mental health consultations—you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

1. Scope of Services

Serene Solutions Counseling & Consulting Services provides:

  • Individual Therapy: Professional mental health counseling services delivered via HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms to clients in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Massachusetts.

  • Empowered Motherhood Intensives: Therapeutic coaching-style sessions (group and individual) for personal growth and emotional reset. These are not a substitute for clinical therapy.

  • Perinatal Mental Health Consultations: Supportive, educational consultations designed for mothers, partners, and professionals seeking guidance around perinatal mental health. These are not diagnostic or clinical treatment sessions.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to receive services, unless written consent is provided by a parent or legal guardian and the service provider is licensed to work with minors.

You must reside in a state where the provider is licensed to offer therapy (currently VA, MD, PA, FL, MA) in order to receive clinical services. Consultations and intensives are available more broadly, depending on the nature of the service.

3. Confidentiality

We are committed to protecting your privacy and confidentiality. For therapy clients, confidentiality is governed by HIPAA and state licensing laws. For intensives and consultations, while privacy is respected, these services are not covered by HIPAA. Confidentiality will be maintained to the extent possible but may not be legally protected in the same way as therapy.

Group intensive participants are expected to maintain the confidentiality of all group members. By participating, you agree not to share or disclose any personal information shared by others.

4. Payment Terms

All fees are listed on the website and must be paid in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Payment is accepted via credit/debit card or other approved electronic payment methods.

Service Fees:

  • Individual Therapy: $150/session

  • Empowered Motherhood Intensive – Individual: $597

  • Empowered Motherhood Intensive – Group: $247

  • Perinatal Mental Health Consultation: $150 (packages available)

  • Evaluation services: Prices vary and are listed on the evaluations page.

Expedited Evaluation Fees: Expedited reports are subject to an additional fee and are available upon request, pending availability.

Failure to provide payment will result in cancellation or delay of services.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Therapy Services:

Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full session fee.

Empowered Motherhood Intensives & Consultations:

Due to the preparation and digital materials provided in advance, all sales are final. If you cannot attend your scheduled session, you may request to reschedule with at least 48 hours' notice. Missed intensives or consultations are not eligible for refund.

Group Intensives:

If minimum enrollment is not met, we reserve the right to reschedule or offer a credit for a future session.

6. Nature of Services and Limitations

  • Therapy services involve mental health treatment and require intake, informed consent, and licensure verification.

  • Empowered Motherhood Intensives and consultations are not therapy and do not constitute a therapeutic relationship.

  • These services are not intended for crisis intervention. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

7. Use of Website and Digital Materials

All materials provided (including toolkits, worksheets, and session resources) are for personal use only and may not be copied, redistributed, or used commercially without written consent.

8. Disclaimer

Results and outcomes may vary based on individual circumstances. We do not guarantee specific emotional, mental, or behavioral outcomes from participation in any service.

9. Modifications to Services or Terms

We reserve the right to modify services, fees, or these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
