Welcome — I’m Sharnece Thomas, MA, LPC. I specialize in maternal mental health and trauma therapy, and I’m here to create a safe, supportive space where you don’t have to carry everything alone. My passion is helping women feel supported, heard, and empowered through the challenges of motherhood, trauma, and everyday life. I provide therapy online to clients in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Florida, as well as in-person sessions in Fairfax, VA.
Why This Work Matters to Me
Motherhood reshaped my perspective in profound ways, but just as powerful has been the privilege of walking alongside countless women and mothers through their own journeys. Again and again, I’ve seen how much pressure women carry, how invisible their needs can feel, and how transformative it is when they finally have a space to feel seen, supported, and validated.
These experiences — both personal and professional — fuel my passion for specializing in maternal mental health and trauma therapy. Every woman deserves a safe place to set down the weight she’s carrying, reconnect with herself, and find a path forward with clarity and confidence. My role is to offer that space with compassion, honesty, and tools that make life’s challenges feel more manageable and less overwhelming.

Clients often find that understanding what’s happening in their bodies and minds helps reduce shame and brings a sense of clarity.
